We stopped here for an overnight stay. The above price was with our Good Sam discount, and for full hookups, so this was a very reasonably priced park. The campground is a little difficult to find, and the roads leading to it are hilly and windy. There were several "permanent" sites, but they were neat. Everyone obeyed the quiet hours. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can pick up several TV channels over the air, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the entire campground and all facilities were neat as a pin. We had good cable, wifi and cell phone reception. The sites are a bit close together, and the fees are high for the area, as there is not much to do. We would stay here again.

We camped here overnight. We did not have reservations, and when we arrived, the park looked full. (They were having a Gospel Sing weekend, which looked pretty popular). They did have a site for us (we just needed w/e), but it was at the far edge of the property with no cable TV or Wi-Fi available that the other sites had, and was sooooo far from a bathhouse. (They only have one for this large campground.) There was a porta-john near our site for our use. While we were grateful that they had room for us: we were charged the same rate that sites with more amenities would pay. Staff was friendly and helpful, given the circumstances. We would stay here again if there was nothing else nearby.

We were camped here for an RV rally, so I cannot pinpoint the exact fee per night, as it was part of our total fee for the rally. We enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are nice and clean. Staff was friendly. We had 30amp electric only, and had plenty of power. There is one dump station that is in a bit of an awkward location, but useable nonetheless. You can pick up several TV stations over the air. Would definitely camp here again.

We stayed here with a group for a small rally. We were put in the upper section, which was very quiet. For whatever reason, our group was a little broken up, but it didn't ruin our fun. The water pressure was excellent, as was the voltage level. Our only complaint was that the Wi-Fi didn't really work well for us, but it did for others in our group. The campground is very well maintained, and it is peaceful to watch the Amish/Mennonite farmers work the field next to the campground. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here twice before, and suggested this campground for our Good Sam chapter to try. Everyone in the group was very impressed at how neat and clean everything was, and how pretty the landscaping looked, even at the end of the camping season. The owners take great pride in this campground, and are very friendly and easy to talk with. They would come out in the evening and make sure we were having a good time. We will definitely return here often.

This was our first visit to this state park, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The park is neat and the staff was on top of maintenance. I do agree that $5/pet/night is a little steep. If you have pets, especially multiple ones, you are paying "resort" campground fees, and although the scenery is beautiful, this is not a resort campground. The sites are grass with no gravel, and when we arrived, it was raining, and had been doing so for several days, so we had trouble with traction as we were backing our rig into the site. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time to Walnut Hills, and we were camping with our Good Sam chapter. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. The roads were windy, yes, but were well-marked with good signage. There is one point where there is 2-way traffic, and the road is not much wider than one lane at this point. We did not encounter any problems here, however. Our site was up on the hill, and we found our site to be spacious, level and shady. Cell service was excellent, and wifi is offered for $2 a day. We will definitely return!

We joined Thousand Trails this past summer, and Outdoor World is part of our contract. We drove over to see this campground shortly after joining TT, and at first we were not impressed. At first glance the sites seemed tight and uneven. The campground is obviously an older one, built before today's "big rigs". We decided to give it a try while visiting Colonial Williamsburg, and I have to admit, we were pleasantly surprised once we were set up. You get to pick your own site, and then tell the office staff where you are. There were several level sites that were long enough to choose from. The staff was super friendly right from the beginning. Cell service (AT&T) was excellent, and Wi-Fi was available for $5/day or $15/week. Since it was a Halloween Weekend, there were a lot of activities planned. All common areas were neat and clean. Our only complaints are: water pressure drops on occasion, and the location of some of the trees in/near campsites can make maneuvering tricky. We were very happy, and will definitely return.

We just bought a Thousand Trails membership, and Thousand Trails has just acquired Outdoor World. This was our first use of the TTN/Outdoor World system. We just love this place. Right from the start, we were greeted with neatly manicured and landscaped surroundings. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. We were told to pick out a site to our liking, and then return to the office to let them know where we'll be. The sites are long and level, and spaced nicely apart from neighboring sites. There is a nice variety of farm animals here....fun for adults and kids alike. Can't say enough about this place....we'll definitely return!

We came here on a "Free Weekend" marketing deal, and ended up buying a membership. We had an absolutely perfect weekend here. The preserve has a variety of sites, from waterfront, to open, to wooded. There are a lot of activities, and the campstore is well stocked. The staff and other campers were very friendly and always had a smile and a "hello". We are lucky to have this preserve close to home for us, and will definitely return.

We came here with our Good Sam chapter. As stated before, the location is off the beaten path, and there are no attractions in the immediate area. We wanted to relax, and it was perfect for that. The campground was clean, well laid out, and attractive. The campstore is adorable, decorated with antiques. They have a small cafe in the store, and we got the milkshakes, which were yummy....made the old-fashioned way. (Try the chocolate/kahlua shake....non-alcoholic and delicious!) I took points off for the high price and lack of some amenities: wifi, cable, and there is poor cell service at the campground. They also charge $10 for a security gate card, which is refunded upon departure. There are no discounts offered, except for FMCA, and you need to pay in cash to get that.

We came here to campare various brands of motorhomes for when we fulltiming. We had no intention to buy at this time, and were not hounded by any salespeople. The Rally Park is nice and clean, and the sites were paved and had ample space. We took advantage of the free breakfast and lunch each day, and also took the Driver Confidence Course, since neither of us had driven a motorhome. We learned a great deal from Barney, the instructor, and do feel very confident behind the wheel of a 40 motorhome. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely return.

This campground was very nice. It is clean and the sites are laid out well. All the sites were concrete, and ours was a long, level pull-thru. The casino and horse racing track is across the street on one side, and an amusement park is on the other. Would definitely return here.

This was a very nice park to stay in. The design of the campground was such that maneuvering in and out of your site was a breeze. They had the W/E (mosty one-nighters) in a separate area, and the park was immaculate. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is free wifi, but no cable. The only negative was that the electicity levels were a little on the low side. The bathrooms were spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a good park to spend one night in while traveling. It was easy to maneuver in and out of sites. THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS....so be prepared. We received a 15% Escapees discount, making the total $20.40. There is a lot of traffic noise.....interstate highway on one side, and train tracks on another. We had the A/C on all night, so we really weren't bothered by it, but if your windows were open, it would be difficult to sleep.

This park very nice for overnight stopping. All the sites are concrete and pull-thru. When you arrive, you pick your own site, and a very nice lady comes out to meet you to collect the fee. She is sweet as can be! Please note: THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECKS. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and there is no road noise to speak of. The only negative is that the sites are close together, but it was not a problem for us. Big rigs can fit comfortably in the sites. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a good park for overnight camping. We had originally chosen a W/E only site, since we were just staying one night, and the W/E sites are all grass. The weather forecast was predicting heavy thunderstorms, so we asked for a gravel site (FHU sites are the only gravel ones....we paid $2 extra for this), and were glad we did, as a torrential thunderstorm came through, and the ground was soaked. We would have had trouble getting out of a soggy site. We had weird shared hookups at our site, but it was not a problem. Staff was friendly.

We are new to the Escapees club, and this was our first experience at an Escapees park. We arrived at 10pm, and the after-hours check-in process was very organized. We had a pull-thru site available to us, so we chose that. Most of their sites are back-in, and larger rigs might find a tight fit in these. The pull-thrus could accomodate most any rig. The park was very clean and orderly, and the staff was super friendly. The laundry room and bathrooms were the cleanest we've seen anywhere in 16 years of RVing. It was a pleasure to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here. This is an older park, so some of the sites are shorter and narrowed by trees. The grounds are clean and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly. The electricity and water pressure were great, but we could get absolutely NO cell service (AT&T), and there are only 2-3 channels available via an air antenna. The wifi signal was spotty.....sometimes great, sometimes not. Everyone was respectful of quiet hours at night. We will return when in the area.

This is such a lovely campground! Each site is beautifully landscaped and clean, with a concrete pad and patio. We even saw the staff make sure each site was spotless after an RV left, and before the next RV arrived! The facilities are clean, and the nearby beach is gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

We stopped here overnight on our way from Virginia to Florida. This is a wonderful campground to overnight in. The staff was friendly and organized, and the campground was neat as a pin. Their pull-throughs ARE long.....we measured ours as being 120 feet long! Will definitely be back!

This was our second time here. The campground is lush and natural....the entry to each site is a little tight because of the vegetation. The park is gorgeous, and interesting. We recommend the boat tour up the St. John's River as well. Will definitely be back!

This was the first time we camped at this park. We stayed on Loop B (only loop open), and found it to be very pleasant. There weren't many people there, and it was very quiet. The site was large with a nice gravel pad with a picnic table, fire pit and lantern pole. Our only complaints were that the water pressure was low, and the voltage would drop to low levels as well. The view from the cliffs is gorgeous. We will return here.

We were here for the RV show in Hershey. The location was convenient to the show, and other Hershey attractions. Our site was perfectly level, and the roads in the campground were nice and wide. We did hear road noise from I-283, but we were not bothered at all by it at night, and we had our windows open. Bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. Will return here when we come up for next year's RV show in Hershey.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a beautiful Fall weekend, with great weather. The campground was filled almost to capacity, but was very quiet. The sites are large, and spaced nicely apart. The bath houses were the nicest we've seen at any state park, complete with laundry facilities. We will definitely return!

We have camped here before, and really like the beauty of the park. (This was 8-9 years ago). We've never had problems with reservations.....until now. I had made reservations for our trip 4 months prior, and made the reservation over the phone. I told the young lady on the phone we needed a pull-thru with full hookups and 30 amp service. When we got there, we ended up with a back in with 50 amp service, and were charged for a "premium" site. I showed the "child" at the counter the confirmation we got from them, stating that we were to get a pull-thru/30amp/FHU, and he said that the online reservation service has problems, and "defaults" you to other sites. I told him I spoke to someone over the phone to make the reservations, and did not use the internet, but to no avail. We later spoke to the gentleman across the street from us, and he indicated that for an extra $10 (non-KOA fee?), you can reserve a specific site. I'm sure someone is pocketting that extra fee. There is limited cable here (there were more channels in years past) and no wifi (rediculous for such a pricey campground). Unfortunately, there aren't many campgrounds in the area, so they don't have much competition.

We stayed here overnight on our way to New York. This campground is OK for overnighting, but is not a "destination" campground. I would describe this place as "creepy". There are a lot of seasonals there, and the maintainance/ activity/ bathhouse buildings look shabby, and there is a lot of junk around them. While I rated the showers as "clean", I would have to say that they are difficult to use: hard to regulate water temperature, and you have to use a pull-chain to get the water to flow, so you end up taking a "Navy" shower. There is no cable or wifi, and the price is reasonable at $27 for full hookups. We will look elsewhere if we need to be in the area.

We stayed here while attending the Life On Wheels Conference in Bethlehem, PA. The road into the campground is on a curve/hill combination off the main road, but is clearly marked with a huge KOA sign. The campground is very peaceful and shady, with a nice creek running through it. We were escorted to our site, and found the staff to be very friendly. Our site was long, level and shady...great during those beastly hot days we've had. We had a very nice stay, and would definitely return here.

We stopped here for one night on the way to and from our destination. This is a beautiful campground, with long, level campsites, and plenty of privacy between sites. The lake was a short walk, and had a swimming beach....very pretty! We will definitely return if in the area.

We just returned from a great weekend at New Point, camping with our Good Sams chapter. I have to see, we were a little leary about this campground due to the previous posts, but I'm happy to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The campground has new owners, which has improved everything. We were one row back from the sites on the Chesapeake Bay. The site was wide and level, but not all that deep. We had full hookups, but no cable or wifi. We did get about 10 channels with our antenna. The majority of the sites are seasonal, but are well-kept. There was a nasty taste and color to the water, but those in our group who had filtration systems seem to have no problems with this. There was a nice beach at the bay.....soft, white sand. Once I saw my first jellyfish (common at this time of year), I headed for the pool. Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely return.

This is a clean, quiet park, with long, level sites. There is no pool or wifi internet service. Security "patrols" constantly, but we had no issues with them. Convenient to Frankenmuth and Birch Run.

This was the first time we've camped at Country Waye, and we loved it. The owners were friendly, and gave us a lot of information regarding local things to do. The campground is very clean and well-kept. We chose a site parallel to the fence line, which was a great site. We had a wonderfully peaceful weekend. I would rate this campground a "10", except for the steep uphill grade that takes you from the office area up to the campsites. It is gravel, and on a somewhat blind curve....we wondered what would happen if two rigs were trying to use that hill at the same time. We will definitely return here again.

This was a very pleasant campground. The store was new, clean and well-stocked. The staff was very helpful. Some of the sites were a little short for a longer rig. Good wifi signal at our site. Experienced several bouts of low voltage, this was the only real negative to this park. We would return here.

We've just returned from a wonderful trip to Four Paws Kingdom. We were originally camping in Myrtle Beach, but Hurricane Ophelia changed our plans. Meik and Birgit were so accomodating, knowing of our evacuation, and allowing us to arrive VERY late. (After midnight) Our Golden Retriever loved the play area, and even ventured into the swimming pond (he's not a swimmer!)The bathhouse is the nicest we've seen in 14 years of camping! We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay there, and are planning to return next year.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The campground is well designed, obviously by people who have actually camped in an RV! We stayed in one of the pull-thru super sites, which is extra long, with a concrete pad. Would highly recommend these sites! They even had gravel around the hookups, so your hoses, wires, etc... do not get muddy. The staff was very friendly, and the bathhouse was clean as a whistle. Would highly recommend this campground.

This is a great campground to use for an overnight stop. The staff is very friendly, and the campground is well-maintained. The bathhouse is the cleanest and roomiest we've ever used. Will definitely return if in the area.
